Inserting the SIM
If you wanted a Pay As You Go Sim card it is enclosed with the user manual in the brown envelope along with a network guide for your choice of SIM. Also in the brown envelope is a copy of your invoice.
Once you have opened your box remove the back off of the phone. Slide the battery cover down on the back of the Emporia Life, pull the red plastic SIM card holder down in the top right hand corner(within the the battery compartment). Place the sim card gold side down under the red sim card holder, with the corner cut corner in the bottom right side of the red sim card holder. Make sure the sim card is flush in the red holder and slide firmly back into the Emporia Life.
Now you can put the battery into the phone and replace the back plastic cover. Then press and hold the red power button on the top of the phone for a few seconds. The Life Phone will now be switched on. Initially it will show loading phonebook then it will ask you to select your language and set the date and time.
Now you can use your phone we would suggest reading the user manual to enable you to get the most from your new phone.
